모든 나무는 눈에 보이지 않는 것, 곧 하나의 의지에서 시작됩니다. 터키어로 ‘꿈’을 뜻하는 Hayal은 이 메종의 첫 향으로, 가지가 가늘어져 열린 하늘로 닿는 나무의 가장 높은 곳에 자리합니다. 레몬과 블러드 오렌지의 밝은 폭발이 블랙 티, 네롤리, 재스민으로 솔아올랐다가 유향·라밀눉·시스투스의 부드러운 수지가 끌는 안개 위로 내려앉으며, 과이악우드와 머스크가 그것을 가만히 감쌀니다. 꿈이 잠을 채우듯, 이 향은 공간을 채웁니다. 무게 없이, 빛나며, 결코 외면할 수 없이. 사람들은 당신이 무엇을 걸쳤는지 물을 겁니다. 당신이 지나온 복도가 이미 그들에게 그것을 일러주었을 테니까요. 이것이 바로 왕관, 하늘을 향해 뻗어 오르는 나무의 부분입니다.

Chapter I · The Crown
Inspired by Light
Light is the first thing to arrive.
Before you know what a day will hold, the light has already told you it exists. It wakes ambition. Hayal means dream in Turkish, my first fragrance and my own first light, so it sits at the crown of the tree. I built it the way light behaves: lemon and blood orange arrive fastest and brightest, neroli, black tea and jasmine glow rather than glare, and frankincense settles with amberwood and white musk into a haze that stays lit after the citrus has gone.
