Chapter IV · The Climbing Rose
Inspired by Love
Love begins low and climbs.
It starts heavy, red, rooted in something you cannot fully explain, and it changes you on the way up. Roseé Blanche is a white rose near the crown that began among the roots and gathered warmth on the climb. I built it around the same rose I use at the root, turned toward the light: white peach and lychee for the first flush, vanilla folded in as cream rather than sugar, amberwood and white musk for skin, where love lives. One more breath. Always one more breath.
