Her ağaç görünmez bir şeyle başlar: bir niyetle. Türkçede hayal anlamına gelen Hayal, bu evin ilk kokusuydu ve ağacın en yüksek noktasında, dalların incelip açık gökyüzüne karıştığı yerde durur. Limon ve kan portakalının parlak bir patlaması siyah çaya, neroliye ve yaseminе doğru yükselir, ardından günlük, labdanum ve ladenın yumuşak reçinemsi pusunun üzerine konar; gayak ağacı ve misk onu sarıp sarmalar. Rüyanın uykuyu doldurduğu gibi doldurur bir odayı: ağırlıksız, ışıltılı, görmezden gelinmesi imkânsız. İnsanlar üzerinizde ne olduğunu soracak. Chapter I · The Crown
Inspired by Light
Light is the first thing to arrive.
Before you know what a day will hold, the light has already told you it exists. It wakes ambition. Hayal means dream in Turkish, my first fragrance and my own first light, so it sits at the crown of the tree. I built it the way light behaves: lemon and blood orange arrive fastest and brightest, neroli, black tea and jasmine glow rather than glare, and frankincense settles with amberwood and white musk into a haze that stays lit after the citrus has gone.
