Musk de Lumière is an American niche fragrance house. We compose every formula in house, and our debut collection, L'Arbre de Vie — the Tree of Life — tells the story of a single tree in eight fragrances. If you make content about scent, story, beauty, or style, this page gives you everything you need to talk about the collection on camera. No perfume expertise required.

The big idea, in thirty seconds

The whole collection is one tree. The four white coffrets are the top of the tree: light, rain, blossom, love. The four black coffrets are the roots: warmth, wisdom, power, time. And the meaning behind it all — the deeper the roots, the higher the branches climb toward the light. Save that line for the end of your video. It hits.

Five content angles that work

1. Smell the tree in order. Eight chapters, one video or a series. The story does the scripting for you.

2. The rose that climbs. One rose, three scents: red at the root (Impériale Oud), through the vanilla trunk (Chérie Oud), white at the top (Rosée Blanche). Nobody else has a storyline like this inside a collection.

3. The night flower fact. Orange blossom really does smell stronger after dark — to attract moths instead of bees. Néroli de Nuit bottles the flower the way it smells at night. Science plus perfume is great content.

4. The real oud story. Impériale Oud and Sultanat Oud are built on genuine Oud Assafi — wild-harvested in Sylhet, Bangladesh, the birthplace of oud, distilled by a multigenerational family of master distillers. Very few houses at any price point can say that.

5. White boxes vs. black boxes. Light side or dark side? Ask your audience to pick a team.

Everything is a unisex eau de parfum, handcrafted in the USA. The wild-harvested oud story belongs to Impériale Oud and Sultanat Oud only — the two built on genuine Oud Assafi.
