Hayal means dream in Turkish. It was the first fragrance of the house, and it sits at the crown of the tree. Lemon and blood orange open bright, black tea and neroli glow beneath them, and frankincense, amberwood and white musk settle into a soft haze that stays close all evening.

The notes. Top: Italian lemon, blood orange, bergamot, ginger. Heart: Tunisian neroli, black tea, jasmine. Base: Somali frankincense, cistus labdanum, amberwood, white musk.

The character. A fresh citrus fragrance with black tea, light and radiant. The accords are citrus, ethereal and musk, resting on a soft resinous base of frankincense and labdanum. A unisex eau de parfum for the daytime.

When to wear it. Mornings, the office, first meetings and warm days. It still works on a mild autumn afternoon, and the white musk in its base holds in cool air better than the citrus at the top suggests.
