A white rose near the top of the tree. Bulgarian rose oil and a rose absolute blend open over white peach and lychee, then fold into Madagascar vanilla and amberwood: cool as morning at first, then soft and creamy on the skin. Long on the skin, and longer on a scarf.

The notes. Top: Calabrian bergamot, white peach, lychee. Heart: Bulgarian rose oil, a rose absolute blend, peony, magnolia. Base: Madagascar vanilla, amberwood, white musk.
The character. A white rose and vanilla perfume, carried on white musk. The accords are white rose, vanilla and amberwood. Unisex, and the most chosen fragrance of the house.
When to wear it. A rose to wear every day, and a fragrance to give. Soft and luminous in summer; in autumn the vanilla comes forward, and in winter it blooms in a warm room.
Where it sits. The fourth chapter of L'Arbre de Vie and the last of Les Branches. Its counterpart among Les Racines is Impériale Oud, the red rose with natural oud; the two are paired as La Rose, deux fois.

Roseé Blanche is a white rose near the crown that began among the roots and gathered warmth on the climb. It is built around the same rose the house uses at the root, turned toward the light: white peach and lychee for the first flush, vanilla folded in as cream rather than sugar, amberwood and white musk for the skin.
