Яркая вспышка лимона и красного апельсина взмывает к чёрному чаю, нероли и жасмину, а затем опускается на мягкую смолистую дымку ладана, лабданума и ладанника, бережно окутанную гваяковым деревом и мускусом. Он наполняет комнату так, как мечта наполняет сон: невесомо, сияюще, невозможно не заметить. Люди будут спрашивать, что на вас надето. Коридор, по которому вы прошли, уже рассказал им об этом. Это венец — та часть дерева, что тянется ввысь.

Chapter I · The Crown
Inspired by Light
Light is the first thing to arrive.
Before you know what a day will hold, the light has already told you it exists. It wakes ambition. Hayal means dream in Turkish, my first fragrance and my own first light, so it sits at the crown of the tree. I built it the way light behaves: lemon and blood orange arrive fastest and brightest, neroli, black tea and jasmine glow rather than glare, and frankincense settles with amberwood and white musk into a haze that stays lit after the citrus has gone.
